Today Matt and I ventured up the Eccles/Huntington Canyon Energy Loop to go cross country skiing. In this loop we saw a total of 4 reservoirs including Scofield, Huntington, Electric, and Cleveland. This loop is packed with snow and people out snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and snow boarding. We actually came across two men that were so dedicated to their snow boarding that they snow shoed up a mountain 5 times to board down it. A little further along the loop we saw people that had come in from Fairview that had parked or been left at the top of the mountain where they were boarding back down into Fairview valley. Next year I think Matthew and I are going to skip paying $60 a person for a lift pass at a ski resort and instead take our down hill skis down this mountain.
